Scholar's Circle Vol. #13: Paleoconservatism

Welcome back, scholars. Today's topic as we enter the first 24 hours of a Trump/Vance presidency of dishonor and nonsense which I vehemently oppose. It's time to break down paleoconservatism which is a pillar of conservatism along with neoconservatism.

Overview of Paleoconservatism:

Paleoconservatism is a political philosophy that emphasizes American nationalism, Christian ethics, regionalism, traditionalist conservatism, and non-interventionism. It emerged in the 1980s as a response to the rise of neoconservatism, advocating for restrictions on immigration, decentralization of federal policy, and economic nationalism.

Major Paleoconservatives
- Pat Buchanan: A prominent figure in paleoconservatism, Buchanan has written extensively on the subject and has been a vocal critic of neoconservatism.
- Paul Gottfried: Coined the term "paleoconservative" and has been influential in shaping the ideology.
- Russell Kirk: Known for his work "The Conservative Mind," Kirk laid the intellectual foundation for paleoconservatism.

Cities and Colleges with Paleoconservative Influence
- Cities: Paleoconservatism has a strong presence in the Southern United States, particularly in states like Texas, Tennessee and Alabama.
- Colleges: Institutions such as Hillsdale College, The University of Alabama and The University of Dallas are known for their paleoconservative influence.

Now let's decode it:

Paleoconservatism is a political philosophy within American conservatism that emerged as a reaction against the interventionist and globalist tendencies of neoconservatism. It emphasizes a return to traditional American values, advocating for a strict interpretation of the Constitution, limited government, and a non-interventionist foreign policy. Paleoconservatives often prioritize cultural and moral issues, stressing the importance of preserving Western civilization and its Judeo-Christian heritage. They are known for their skepticism of both big government and big business, advocating instead for a more localized and community-oriented approach to governance.

One of the central talking points of paleoconservatism is American nationalism. Paleoconservatives believe in the sovereignty of the United States and oppose any form of globalism that they perceive as undermining national interests. This includes resistance to international institutions, treaties, and trade agreements that they see as compromising American independence. They also advocate for strong border control and immigration policies that prioritize the interests of native-born citizens and maintain the cultural integrity of the nation.

Economic nationalism is another key aspect of paleoconservatism. Paleoconservatives argue for protectionist trade policies to defend American industries from foreign competition and to preserve jobs for American workers. They criticize the outsourcing of jobs and the offshoring of manufacturing, seeing these practices as detrimental to the American economy and working-class families. This economic stance is coupled with a critique of both unfettered capitalism and socialism, promoting instead a mixed economy that balances free enterprise with protective measures.

Now as far as the legislative, executive & judicial parts of paleoconservatism, here's a deep dive.

Paleoconservatism, a political philosophy emphasizing traditional American values, limited government, and non-interventionist foreign policy, can be illustrated through legislative, executive, and judicial examples. Legislatively, a paleoconservative policy might involve passing a bill to restrict immigration, aiming to protect American jobs and culture. Executively, a mock executive order could be issued to decentralize federal power, transferring certain responsibilities to state governments to promote local governance. Judicially, a paleoconservative approach might involve a Supreme Court decision that upholds the rights of states to enact their own laws on issues like abortion and gun control, reflecting a strict interpretation of the Constitution. To back these policies, paleoconservatives would need to win key states in the electoral college, such as Texas, Florida, and Ohio, which have significant conservative populations and electoral votes. These states are crucial for securing a majority in the electoral college and implementing paleoconservative policies at the national level.

Paleoconservatism supports constitutional amendments that emphasize limited government, states' rights, and traditional values, such as the Balanced Budget Amendment, Term Limits for Congress, Repeal of the 16th Amendment, and the Right to Life Amendment. While paleoconservatives generally appreciate Donald Trump's stance on issues like immigration and trade, they do not fully align with all aspects of his ideology. As for other types of conservatism, paleoconservatism shares some common ground with cultural conservatism and traditionalist conservatism but differs from fiscal conservatism and neoconservatism in areas like economic policy and foreign intervention.

With that being said, thank you for viewing!

Men, get into the Semiconductor Industry!

Welcome back, scholars. Today's topic is about semiconductors and if you've been over here some time, you've seen me offer comprehension to how being invested into semiconductors is crucial & it's why China has a manufacturing economy and we're consumers. America's priorities are messed up, you see how we value a New York and a Los Angeles but we treat Detroit like trash despite Detroit producing more for the infrastructure than both cities. New York has it's banking but banking can't sustain solely without an infrastructure to garnish currency from. It's why China is defeating us because we betrayed the Midwest, America's heart, brain & spine whether it's the Big 3, Motown, Rock & Roll or Northwestern, Notre Dame, University of Michigan, The University of Chicago and Washington University of St. Louis. Let's get into the blog: WHAT IS SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNOLOGY? Semiconductors are materials (usually silicon) that ha...

5 people who should never get close to the white house or become affiliated with the President

Welcome back, scholars. This is a hit piece warning to Black Americans, this is not for Kamala Harris either because I will be dropping a hit piece condemning her as well but we must speak on those dropping hate pieces in politics, promoting confusion or like the moron jumping around in the picture above promoting bribery. I was inspired to make this after the absolute shit show in Madison Square Garden from Donald Trump being the leader of foolishness and having a liar of a vice presidental candidate to Tony Hinchcliffe who's Italian but has the nerve to look down on people as if his people didn't not only beg to accepted by the Anglo but went through lynchings in Louisiana to be accepted. You all know names like Tulsi Gabbard, Ron DeSantis, Anna Paulina Luna, Rachel Levine, JD Vance, Donald Trump, Grant Cardone, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and Josh Shapiro should never touch office. Most of you will enter 2026, the same way you entered 2025, a disgrace, a joke, a minstrel, a coughing baby compared to Tsar Bomba.
