The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, also known as Dodd-Frank, is a federal law that was passed in 2010 to protect consumers and taxpayers from risky financial practices. The law was named after former Senators Chris Dodd and Barney Frank, issued by then President and the 44th of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama Jr. I remember this act vividly and one I support especially after what happened in 2008, not only did a crash happen but many people were victims of financial scamming and actually, 2008 is the origin of this bill to prevent another 2008 or even worse another 1929. People think financial scamming is hot now but no, it was hotter decades back & banks have done shady practices investing money then because if you were politically aware, you realize this is the time Vanguard & BlackRock went to the next level in ownership and venture capital.
The law's main goals are to:
- Improve transparency: Make credit card rates and fees more transparent so consumers can compare cards
- Protect consumers: Prevent predatory lending and other abusive financial services practices
- Promote financial stability: Improve accountability in the financial system and end "too big to fail"
The law includes six major provisions, including:
- The Volcker Rule
- The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
- Capital and liquidity requirements
- The Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) and designations
- Derivatives regulations
- Too Big to Fail and Living Wills
The law also restricts banks from trading with their own funds, tightens regulation of financial products, and heightened monitoring of systemic risk.
People give Obama flack but that honestly was one of his best moves because modern media talks about 2008 but I fear a 1929 for the modern society as we'll collapse from our lack of awareness, intellect, attention span & physical strength. If you know your political history, you realize the great depression was a 10-12 year span and not only that, the way we escaped it was a World War, the second to be exact. America is where we as black people succeed and conquered white supremacy ownership & will continue to until reparations are issued but don't go deep because we've all slipped a little too deep into those politics of that because you'll see guys like Joe Rogan, Rogan O'Handley, Tim Kennedy or a Patrick Bet-David who seem respectable and likable on the surface but once you see their affiliates, Dennis Prager, Glenn Beck, Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, Elijah Schaffer, Candace Owens, Brandon Tatum, Greg Foreman, Keith & Kevin Hodge, Elon Musk, Trad West, Vivek Ramaswamy, Coleman Hughes, Dinesh D'Souza, Matt Walsh & then they use their "warrior" class to surely bring in their beliefs such as Sean Strickland or hype up people who are just doing their job like Alex Pereira but slowly make him a symbol considering he has wins over Thomas Powell, Israel Adesanya and Jamahal Hill. Even men I love such as Louis Farrakhan, Malcolm X, MLK & Thomas Sowell have been put into this bubble where they nitpick quotes to fit their agenda of white supremacist nationalism which must be handled by putting those who act this out in the ground. See, someone like Elon Musk would never do the dirty work. Just like I set plays for the Infantry in Marjah, Trek Nawa, Kabul etc., same is done for the Musk's of the world, they send the Strickland's for sport & the Peyton Gendron's for political warfare and this will not be handled until those motherfuckers are worm food. While people are consumed with DEI & how bad the Midwest & East are despite Detroit being a mega rise and nobody acknowledges it, 40% of Americans can't own home and more than 50% do not have $1k in liquid cash accessible at anytime. We are a joke of a nation. Our people are gayer, fatter, dumber etc. than ever. Name a thriving Hispanic land, black people are the reason America has thrived through macroeconomics and starting trends & businesses rather than be controlled by a machine that only loves the black degenerate hence why they want us in Mississippi but not Michigan or Minnesota, hence why Georgia is fine but New York and New York isn't, hence why Texas is fine but Ohio is not. The US government from Woodrow Wilson onto until now has wanted no international alliance of black people so our numbers can dominate because let's be real, we're above 13% but the statisticians want you feeble and powerless & most are retarded enough to submit to said ideals. While we're worried about sprinkle sprinkle, drizzle drizzle, "black people are bad", Club Shay Shay & gossip, most Americans can't afford not to live tight yet you spend 5% of your annual incomes on iPhones you make zero money off of. While trailer park, knuckledragging trash is worried about race & not even knowing per capita is based on per head within a demographic which gives you that said average of that demographic regarding data, you're losing government assistance and all that Mexican food you're eating, that's going to Hector's economy along with government assistance that true taxpayers like I pay so you can live in buttfuck Tennessee with your cousin wife and your dogs you sleep with when your cousin wife goes off to Arkansas or Alabama which is 5-star for unethical, uneducated bumpkins like you. While people are bitching about "out of towners" moving in, you need to get your lazy, unskilled, unfit, unintelligent, uneducated, propaganda fed, media led asses up and apply yourself & understand economics since your propaganda thought leaders love Milton Friedman so much, you should realize more people bringing opportunity boosts your economy, you bumbling, tone deaf, regressive, cerebral rotting, mentally outdated, rabid pieces of shit.
