#showyourwork isn't just something to say, it's something to live by. No one gets anywhere without backing up their gab with their accomplishments. Over here, we write checks our asses can cash! Before I get into the colleges, you should be targeting. Whether it's a degree or a major, it needs to be profitable. I recommend majoring. It's more pinpointed towards your career than a degree is. Majors like Petroleum Engineering are great. Me personally, my undergraduate major was Political Science. These are majors to go for. Your fine arts degrees won't get you anywhere, go for a heavy-hitting undergrad major then go to graduate school. At this time, weigh out cities to relocate to. I say avoid the South but if South is your thing. Nashville, Oklahoma City, Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa & Dallas need to be your targets. For men who work in the industry, I recommend 15 cities.
- Chicago
- New York City
- Orange County
- Detroit
- Washington, D.C.
- Salt Lake City
- Scottsdale
- Dallas
- Seattle
- Denver
- Nashville
- Boston
- Minneapolis
- Columbus
- Tampa
For these great schools, you need great qualifications other than what you think. With your money you've made from working and dividend investments, you hired A1 tutors and learned things ahead of the game. I recommend the young man to have a dense resumè.
- Athlete
- Does community work
- Valedictorian, Salutatorian or top 5 GPA in your class
- Learn another language
- Go for perfect scores and take both ACT & SAT
- Employment
- School Awards
- Grade A soft skills
This way you're looked at it as an independent student. He's determined and he's prospering. That's what they want. This is excellence is a versatile way. Here's the thing, you need to be touring these schools, gentlemen. When interviewing, you need to follow that dress code.
- Professional hair
- Navy Blue Pinstripe Suit, Silver Tie & Monk Strap shoes
- Wear an appropriate fragrance like Interlude 45, Valentino Roma or PDM Godolphin
- Always have a business card on you
This is a blue-chip student move, right here.
- Harvard University
Probably the world's most famous university and the #2 ranked university in the United States. Harvard is synonymous with excellence. Being a Harvard grad puts in different arenas than most. This is the heart of the Ivy League. Great decision.
- Columbia University
Another Ivy League powerhouse. Actually better for the young man than Harvard since you not only are in something as competitive as the Ivy League but you're also in the Big Apple, New York City.
- University of Pennsylvania
All my business heads, this is the school for you! Another Ivy League, another school of heritage & famous for the Wharton School of Business. This is most definitely a school you need to pursue a major in, especially finance or econometrics. Some of Wharton's best get in that way.
- Cornell University
Great school, tight knit alumni who gives back to the Ithaca, New York area. Cornell may be the best experience university due to the fact that it is very hands-on politically & a lot of students travel often and learn plenty of cultures within a short time.
- Vanderbilt University
My main alma mater. The greatest Southern school and a bourgeois snobby alumni. We are arrogant and competitive & very brash. Home of the cutthroat Commodores. Very business oriented as we consistently give back to our alma mater. Truly a honorable university.
- Georgetown University
The All-American institution. Located directly in the Nation's capital. This is American Excellence personified. Sharp minds that are head & shoulders above. Hoyas win & win only!
- The Ohio State University
Buckeye alum as well. The prize of the Midwest. Great for the medical field and political field. It's a solid school and great for football & wrestling. In a city like Columbus, this is it especially in the next 5-10 years. Ohio State is already respected but on the rise.
- University of Michigan
The Wolverines & Buckeyes might understand each other but U of M is the superior school. All around phenomenal school. Often called "The Harvard of the North". U of M graduates make a lot and a lot quicker than most. Michigan is the pride of the Midwest & it's colleges prove it.
- Northwestern University
If Michigan is the pride of the Midwest, Ohio is the prize of the Midwest then Illinois is the catch of the Midwest. Evanston, IL & Chicago, IL are most definitely cities I recommend for professional men. Big market, big money. Northwestern is a school of brilliance & innovation!
- Georgia Tech University
A top 3 Southern school, Atlanta's school of honor. Being a Yellowjacket is one of the best choices you can ever make. All my technology gurus, CalTech & GA Tech are your best moves.
- CalTech
Speaking of CalTech, it's next on this list. You can never go wrong with this school. California & Presidential Men match. Money, Power & Respect.
- University of Florida
Least prestigious school on this list by far but still has a rich history. This is the same school that created Gatorade. If Florida knows anything, it's innovation, marketing and business.
- University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
Being a Tar Heel means you're a man of tradition. The traditional disciplined style of UNC is one of pure excellence.
- Duke University
First, OSU and U of M now Duke & UNC. Rivals of excellence. Duke is easily in that top 3 Southern school. Vandy, Duke & GA Tech. Same class that UNC has, Duke has. North Carolina schools have a reputation of prestige.
- Wake Forest University
Another North Carolina school, now it's Winston-Salem where we land. Same motto of class is required. NC got it going on.
- Stanford University
The 3rd school I'm honored to be an alum of, the best university in the United States of America. Ranked above all Ivy Leagues and another California powerhouse.
- Michigan State University
NY, Massachusetts, California, North Carolina and now Michigan dominate this list and for a damn good reason. It's little brother but if Michigan is Jordan, Michigan State is Kobe. Located in Lansing, the state capital. This is the criterion.
- University of Southern California
Some of the best merit scholarships on Earth, USC loves a man who is versatile. Buff out all weaknesses. Go Trojans + you're going to need some Trojans when them USC girls circle you.
- University of California-Los Angeles
LA's flagship institution. Puts you straight in an American empire and gives you the Hollywood life, which is what every real young man wants.
- Rice University
Texas finally makes the list with this marvel of a school. Rice degree, instant money.
- Tulane University
Louisiana's only great college is a damn good one. Tulane creates gentlemen & vintage Southern charm.
- Johns Hopkins University
To all my med guys in the East Coast, Baltimore & Medicine go there like PB&J! The opportunities at Johns Hopkins are lucrative!
- University of Notre Dame
The Midwest has another college in ND. Opulence, Order & Class is what this school teaches. The Midwest is the infrastructure, ND gets you in that.
- University of Chicago
Illinois' premier university for good reason. Vintage intelligence that'll never fade out of style.
- Washington University in St. Louis
In a defunct economy like STL, WU still stands tall and demands it's prestige.
- Villanova University
Located in Philly, Villanova is a scholar athletes dream. Excellence at all costs. No cutting corners at VU.
- Yale University
The School of Brotherhood, Ivy League and the original dynasty of College Football. To add the cherry on top, located in the honorable New Haven.
- University of California at Berkeley
Generational wealth is the game. Money is 1-2-3-4 & Berkeley doesn't fear war. This is where your opulent valedictorians go.
- University of Texas at Austin
Variable range of education, family oriented & very culturally diverse with a gold standard on success.
- Pepperdine University
The School of the prettyboy, another California institution. Modeling, media gurus etc. love this school and it's in the center of Malibu. Pure privilege and we love privilege over here.
- Harvey Mudd College
A select, small pond. Great for creative minds. The final California college on this list.
- United States Military Academy at West Point
Order, disclipine & structure are what most young men lack. West Point is great for this. 2nd to last NY school on the list.
- Bucknell University
A school with rigorous majors & an all around principle of success. Far from monolithic.
- Colgate University
Last but certainly not least, Colgate out of Hamilton, NY. School of political science and literature. If you want to be in law, Colgate is great for that. Colgate brings you up the hierarchy higher than usual.
