This is why Liberals ruined Detroit.
One word, Propaganda. Detroit was ruined by propaganda. You had the elites such as the Ford's, Illitch's, Stroh's & multiple holding firms in Detroit. Was it corruption against the poor? I wouldn't call it that, I'd call it classism and as a capitalist myself, I love it & it is levels to this ish!
The working class started knowing the rich were richer than expected and the blue collar working class wanted shares & big money for contributing to an empire which is a form of self veneration. As the worker, you know you add to the company and the company invests in itself & pays you the rest based on performance. So politicians specifically politicians with a liberal mentality got in & ruined Detroit. They used good old divide and conquer, told the workers that they were suffering from an injustice and they'll rescue them from them with a vote. So they voted in these liberals who took that money & funding to their checking account, corrupted the city council with their agenda and they didn't invest nothing but spare change into the city where the capitalists created a big great metropolis. They still pushed an anti capitalist agenda so the capitalists were tired of the government and citizens disrespecting yet demanding capital from them so the capitalists put the finger up at the city of Detroit and left for better citizens, more politically intelligent people and a better area. This happened in Exodus while the crime surpassed education & thanks to the help of Nixon & Reagan, Detroit became a poverty striken, dead, democrat ran, bankrupt, crime infested shithole it is today even the median house price is $30k or so and in my community, the median price is $700k. So the average Joe in my area can purchase 20 homes in well known, Ex-Midwestern powerhouse known as Detroit, Michigan. Ridiculous!
